Event requirements
We welcome both new and established media.
ALL MEDIA APPLICANTS :
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must Pre register, this includes all individual media team members
- Professional attire required.
- Closed toe shoes are required
- Long sleeves are Recomended
- Long pants are Recomended
- No consumption/use of controlled substances or alcohol is allowed prior to the end of all daily track activities.
Registering your request does NOT guarantee approval

- - reserved for established media. Those who have attended 4 or more events in 2023 and provided consistent content are considered first until the media cap is met.

- *NOTE: If this is your first time applying you will apply as an 'attendee' first and get the media tag upon approval.
Approved media perks:
- Free entry to the event
- Exclusive access to areas of the event that are not accessible to the public
We require that all approved credentialed media attending our events provide content to us for promotional purposes.
Galleries/videos should be submitted to Motorsports@summitpointmotorsports.com
All content that we use will be tagged and credited
Interested Drone Pilots
The use of any Unmanned Ariel System/Drone is prohibited without expressed approval through this registration
Drone Pilot Applicant requirements in addition to the above:
- MUST hold and upload a valid FAA License in this registration
- MUST contact Motorsports@summitpointmotorsports.com and provide a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) for separate approval no less than 10 days prior to each intended event date
- Limited # of approvals per event
APPROVALS
Approvals will be posted on the registration page under "Entries", which will be updated every few days. If you don't see your name, you have not been approved yet
Credentials will only be issued at the track per the events that you are registered for in the paddock at check-in
FYI-You are not to take pictures of credentials and share or duplicate on social media, email, text message or any other form of communication.Credentials will be revoked if this is seen.
VENDING
Photographers who wish to sell their photos at the track must contact us at motorsports@summitpointmotorsports.com to be approved for Vending prior to the event date
Arrival and Checking-in
- Upon arrival at the gate identify yourself
- only pre registered approved names will be listed at the gate
- sign the ENTRY waiver
- You will Check In at registration
- and sign the Media participant waiver
- pick up an event schedule and map
- Driver's Meeting.- 8:45
- Confirm any changes or updates, important info that will help you be SAFE and your day to go a lot smoother.
- You will attend Media Meeting directly after the Driver's Meeting. Confirm updates or changes
MEDIA GUEST Area Access
You ae participating at your own risk
Approved credentialed personnel are authorized to be inside of specified fences, entering via authorized entry points.
Accessible areas vary from event to event -circuit to circuit, additional instructions from Corner Marshals and other track officials must be followed
- Media vest/Hi vis vest must be worn at all times
- Identify yourself, show your credentials to corner marshals and other track officials
- Remain within eyeshot to the corner stations/Marshal
- Remain inside the specified boundaries
- Do not physically step on any course unless given express approval from a track official
- NO crossing the track or any paved areas inside the track fence,unless given express approval from a track officials
- NO standing on any impact protection barriers- tires, jersey, concrete, foam etc.
- NO jumping fences
- Ladders of any type are not permitted inside the track fence.
- "HOT" areas Pit Lane and Trackside access
- The use of motorized vehicles must be operated by a licensed driver
- Paddock and internal roads speed 3mph
- Vehicles need to be parked off main roadways. We ask that you do not park in prime spectator parking area
Failure to comply WILL result in loss of privileges and Possible EXIT from the park
