The ultimate in track time for high performance driving enthusiasts. Restricted to those individuals who have demonstrated the ability to drive safely around the track as certified SOLO through FATT, equivalent club drivers education events, or current competition license holders. Street cars must meet FATT requirements. Competition cars must meet corresponding sanctioning body safety specifications. Competition Driver's must present competition license at check-in.

"Seat Time" is provided by Summit Point Motorsports Park for drivers of street cars and race cars to use the track.  Separate sessions for street and race cars are adjusted to safely maximize track time for all participants.  "Seat Time" is for drivers to test and tune their cars and hone their skills as drivers.  No wheel-to-wheel racing, dicing, or mock racing is allowed.

NO OPEN WHEEL CARS ALLOWED

Must be 18 years old to participate.

Requirements:

Street Cars    Drivers who are "Seat Time"-qualified as SOLO drivers in street cars on street tires.  May include Showroom Stock, Improved Touring, and Spec Miata cars for drivers who don't have a competition license.  All convertibles must have a roll bar.  Helmets (SA2010 or newer) and seat belts are required.  Track conduct is governed by FATT rules and the Pit Marshal's judgment.  Note:  Passing signals must be given outside the car and passing may take place anywhere.  No passing without a signal.

Competition Cars    Drivers with valid road racing competition licenses (SCCA, VRG, BMW, EMRA, NASA, PCA, and SVRA) may participate AER, Chumpcar please contact Summit Point Office before registering at 304-728-5246. LeMons licenses are NOT accepted in the competition car group.  Cars are required to have all safety equipment required for racing.  This includes roll bars, fire extinguishers, 5- or 6-point harnesses, numbers, and class markings.  Drivers must wear all safety apparel.  Track conduct governed by Summit Point Motorsports Park and the Pit Marshal's judgment.

Cars will be black flagged for improper equipment or dangerous behavior.

Drivers may take passengers as long as the passenger's safety equipment is the same as the drivers.  Passengers must be at least 18 years old and ride-along band must be requested at time of check-in.
