The New German Performance Slip Meets Grip Road Course Car Show is an ode to the historic car shows once hosted at Summit Point Motorsports Park, then Summit Point Raceway, during the Jefferson 500. The car shows held at the Jefferson 500 held a special place in the heart of Bill Scott, late owner of Summit Point, and we hope to bring the spirit of those cars shows back with Slip Meets Grip. Slip Meets Grip is unique because it will be hosted on an actual road course, the Jefferson Circuit The portion of the Jefferson Circuit being used will have prime viewing of the inside of turn 3 on the Summit Point Circuit, a rare viewing angle for Summit Point spectators.

The Jefferson 500 and Drift Nirvana DN Rivals The Jefferson 500 is a big event with historic significance. Drift Nirvana is Summit Point Motorsports Park's grassroots drift group. DN Rivals is a grassroots series showcasing amateur drifters from Drift Nirvana in a four part series on all four circuits. This is round 1 on the Jefferson extension. The Jefferson 500 is on the Summit Point Circuit racing vintage cars and Drift Nirvana DN Rivals is on the extension of the Jefferson and the Washington Circuit with the Slip Meets Grip car show smack in the middle!

Be a VIP! Enter your car into this show to get the unique opportunity to have you vehicle front and center to very contrasting forms of motorsports.Apply to be a VIP! VIPs can guarantee themselves a spot front and center to turn 3 of the Summit Point Circuit. VIP Spots are reserved for iconic, unique, and noteworthy vehicles as well as sponsor vehicles. The car show is currently capped at 130 cars.
